This year’s grand prize is a new Polaris Sportsman 450 partially donated by Waite Polaris and the Polaris Corporation! You must be a registered participant to be eligible for the prize.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 20 hands.

There will also be a 50-50 drawing.

You do not need a Lewis County ATV Trail Permit for this event. This is a Road Event.

 

THIS IS AN ATV/UTV ONLY EVENT.

Participants will be given a trip stamp card and a map that shows the designated route and legal “open” roads to use for the event. Once registered, you may start from any one of the participating businesses listed on the card. You will be given a sticker to place on your ATV to let law enforcement know that you are a participant in the event.

Every participant has to go to at least 5 stops to make up a 5 card poker hand. If a participant wants to better their odds, they can go to additional 2 stops. When you return, you may draw a maximum of 7 cards.

All participants must be back prior to 6:00 PM to the Barnes Corners Sno-Pals Groomer Barn or Timberview to draw cards or be disqualified. No exceptions.

The certain roads that were opened for the event will be closed at 8pm.

 

Registration Information

Registration fee is $25. You must be registered to win the grand prize ATV. There is no online registration , but there is a printable waiver form that you may bring with you. Your registration form automatically enters you in the drawing for the grand prize.

You can pre register Friday March 29, 2024 at the Sno-Pals Groomer barn from 3pm - 9pm, Timberview 6pm-9pm.

SNIRT Day registration will be 8am – 11am at the Sno-Pals Groomer Barn, Timberview, Barrows Performance and Snow Ridge. You will be asked to fill out a waiver form and ATV raffle/registration form. 

 

All participants in the SNIRT Run are expected to provide proof of license, registration and insurance as may be required by law, to be in accordance with Local Laws. NO EXCEPTIONS!

 

WE ASK EVERYONE TO BRING A CANNED GOOD AS A DONATION TO GO TO THE LEWIS COUNTY FOOD PANTRY. THIS IS A GREAT WAY TO SHOW SUPPORT TO THOSE THAT MAY BE IN NEED.

 

Riding Do’s and Don’ts

THIS IS AN ATV/UTV ROAD ONLY EVENT.

This means ATV/UTV’s on designated roads only.

NO JEEPS

NO MOTORCYCLES

NO CARS

NO TRUCKS

Please stay on the designated route. The Towns have been nice enough to allow this to run through - please respect their decision and take care to stay on the route. Do not get off the designated roads! We have been asked by the Towns to avoid Lee Gulf Rd and Parker Rd. These are not part of the SNIRT route and will be closed for the event.

STAY OFF PRIVATE PROPERTY AND LOCAL ATV TRAIL SYSTEM.

In previous years, there was substantial damage to fields and road right of ways. Do not go on snow covered trails not designated for the event. Many of these are off limits to ATVs/UTVs. Be conscious of your trash! If you bring it in, you take it out!

Remember to be considerate to residents! Leave adequate room near driveways. Pull a safe distance onto the shoulder, but avoid damaging wet areas.

Age Restrictions

Riders under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

Please follow NYS ATV and motor vehicle laws.

This is an ATV Event. We cannot tell you what to ride or give advice. Ride at your own risk. Law Enforcement will be present at the event.
